Why this paper exists

Our Mission

This community newspaper was created to reach the neighbors we have not yet been able to reach through meetings, social media, websites, yard signs, or personal outreach. After several months of effort, only a small fraction of the participation needed to approve meaningful changes has become actively involved. This newspaper is another way to carry the conversation farther, to the homeowners who may not be online, may not know this effort exists, or may simply be more likely to stop and read something placed in their hands. Sometimes the first step is simply to awaken curiosity.

We use the spirit and imagery of The Odyssey with a light touch because the challenge itself is very real: reaching the 75% participation required for meaningful reform is a monumental community effort. If you would like to write an article, contribute an idea, help with a future edition, or simply print a copy and share it with a neighbor, please do. Every conversation helps. The more people who participate, the closer we come to creating the communication and cooperation this community needs.
